Wedding Details

From the last wedding we attended as an unmarried couple!

Our good friends Larry and Denise tied the knot this past weekend, and like any good wedding blogger, I took a ton of pictures to share with you!

The wedding was held at Seascape Resort, on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, just south of Santa Cruz. And we couldn't believe how beautiful the weather was.
Their cute programs featuring their beachy graphic that we saw throughout the wedding.
Pomander balls hung from shepherd's hooks lined the aisle.

The views past their chuppah were gorgeous.
After their beautiful ceremony, everyone gathered for appetizers and drinks on the lawn. Their cheese table made us excited for our own cheese table in less than 2 weeks!

Pretty cocktail arrangements.
After the cocktail hour, we all went inside and found our tables. Check out their shell table numbers, they were made using two layers of acrylic, cut on the laser cutter we've used for many of our projects.
Mr. Cola and I, waiting for dinner to start.(Shhhhh! This may or may not be the same dress I'm planning to wear to our after wedding luncheon!)

For dinner they did a buffet that was presented beautifully.
After dinner they turned the lights down and we got ready to dance the night away. I loved the way the uplighting and ceiling drapery and lights changed the mood of the room.

The dance floor was packed for most of the night.
Later in the evening they did their cake cutting as we all watched. Here's what their cake and cupcake tables looked like earlier in the evening when the lights were brighter.
(I took all photos in this post)

At the end of the night, about 25 of us headed down to the lobby bar (almost all the guests were staying the night), and continued the party. I've got some great photos from the rest of the night, including one of our friend asleep sitting up, but I'll spare you all those photos!

Now that you're planning or have planned your own wedding, do you appreciate the little details even more at other weddings you attend?
